I’ve successfully run the business since 2007, I’ve always been totally dedicated to bringing the highest quality of products, styling, cutting & colouring techniques to the salon and providing exceptional service to each individual client that walks through the door.

I’ve worked in the industry for 20 years and realise the importance of treating clients and staff well.

My passion for hair has always been a huge part of my life, I keep well trained and love keeping on the top of new trends to help clients achieve their hair goals.

We are very lucky to have been able to bring Nadine into the salon in 2020 as she has three decades of experience and an incredibly loyal client base which she built up & retained, some for 25 years!Nadine is Toni & Guy trained and has had courses with Andrew Collins, she enjoys taking new sylists under her wing, her short haircuts & colours are particularly impressive, some even say she has magic fingers!Nadine is always upbeat & passionate, she works incredibly hard & we are priviledged to have her!

Connie started working in the salon in 2013 and uses her skills creatively to transform her clients hair to produce a modern and stylish look. Connie uses her up to the second knowledge of current trends of fashions to keep everyone else in the salon on their toes (!) and her strive for perfection achieves fantastic results for clients young and old. She also has a passion for short haircuts. She loves working with long hair and built up a regular client base long ago with her established skills after completing her advanced level 3 hairdressing qualification in 2018. Connie is self-employed.

Connie Gorrett

Jacob started his career in 2012 and gained his training & nearly three experience at the world famous Toni & Guy including entering into ‘hair up’ competitions, which is still a skill he loves to exhibit on his clients to this day.Wanting a fresh challenge he honed his skills in barbering and gained three years of experience in this field, he also found he really enjoyed the close community within Crediton and surrounding areas.Jacob joined Nikki Blanchford Hairdressing to use his experience of men’s & women’s hair-styling, and has thrived in the busy salon surroundings, with great variations of cuts & colours every single day. Jacob offers late appointments by request to customers that need them.He has worked at the salon for 7 years. Jacob is self-employed.

Zoe is one of our most experienced stylists, being incredibly versatile and yet remains absolutely focused on the client experience earning her a fantastic client base of her own.Zoe has a great reputation & continues to develop her skills by welcoming training opportunities. She followed a similar path to Nikki, having started working in the salon in 2006 while studying & went one on to qualify at Exeter Hair College.Zoe is self-employed.

Amelia has been with the salon since 2017 and showed a great interest in becoming a full time member of the team and a fully fledged hair-stylist in her own right.
She completed her salon based level 2 qualification in 2019 and gained great experience from cutting & styling numerous clients, retaining & building her own client base almost immediately! Amelia enjoys all aspects of hairdressing but she especially loves cutting short hair. Her dedication and passion is second to none & so I am sure she has along & exciting career in the industry for many many years to come.

Becky is again one of our most experienced stylist, having joined the salon in 2010. She is adaptable to many types of hair & styles and particularly excels in Balayage trends and enjoys short hair cuts working with her clients to try something new and creating fabulous transformations. Becky has followed a similar path to Zoe and I, having started started working in the salon while studying at QECC. She too went on to qualify at Exeter Hair College and has gained masses of experience & a loyal following of regular clients, while welcoming new customers & enjoying the fantastic atmosphere within the salon & its team.Becky is self-employed.

Hello my Name is Izzy, I’ve been at the salon since 2020!

I started as an apprentice and completed my NVQ level 2 qualification in 2022,
I really enjoy learning new techniques and skills, I keep up with the upcoming trends with new courses & classes.

I love meeting new clients and making them feel good about themselves.

I’m most passionate about cutting and colouring with my favourite being a half head foils.

Luke started his hairdressing training in 2017 at the age of 27 after a massive career change. He qualified in his NVQ Level 2 with PGL training in 2018, working at Energy Hair (Darts Farm) for 3 years.

Luke “My love for hair is evergreen without doubt my passion is a bob haircut. I really love to meet new & regular clients, I like to get to know all my clients & feel part of their world. A stylist/client relationships is very important. Starting at Nikki Blanchford Hairdressing is a new & exciting challenge.

I’ve been lucky enough to have learnt from the likes of Andrew Smith, Steven Smart, James Beaumont & Joseph Koniak over many years.

Outside of the salon I’m a keen runner, I’ve run countless half marathons & marathons all for Children’s Hospice South West who I do a lot of charity work for.”

Gabe started working at the salon in 2023.

His hairdressing career started when he was 15 in Exeter and earned his Level 2 & 3 Diplomas at Exeter College. He is passionate about every aspect of his job, with a particular love for balayage and bespoke colouring. He has a real talent for Foilayage and getting his blends just perfect. Additionally, he enjoys keeping his skills fresh by learning new techniques and expanding his knowledge.

My name is Tia and I qualified in the year of 2022 and prolonged my education to become level 3 NVQ trained in 2023.

From the age of 14 I had been a Saturday girl and then worked my way up through an apprenticeship to then being on the salon floor as a full time stylist.

My favourite aspect of this job is creating lived in blondes/Brondes/brunettes because I love making colours personalised to each client and I’m always learning new techniques and getting as much education as possible to be the best stylist I can be.

When I’m not on the shop floor I enjoy my sunny holidays away, socialising with friends and family and fitness training.

I Joined Nikki Blanchford’s in December 2023.
I’ve worked in a few salon’s over the years of hairdressing and gained good knowledge and experience, but working at Nikki’s has been the best salon I’ve working in with an amazing & supportive team.
I Started hairdressing from school in 2011
I qualified my NVQ level 2 in 2013 and my NVQ level 3 in 2014.
I love all aspects of my job especially doing creative fashion colours and balayage. I always listen to my clients and try to achieve the highest standard and best end result for them.
I love learn new techniques and keeping up with the latest hair trends, and I love meeting new clients making feel good about themselves when leaving the salon.

My name is Eleanor, I’m a new stylist, I’ll be completing my NVQ 2 very soon! So far, I have loved learning every aspect of hairdressing and become more and more excited to learn and improve things every day. I especially enjoy colouring hair and trying new techniques to boost my knowledge. Along with cutting and styling hair to create that perfect finish.
I hope to gain a successful career from my experience here at Nikki’s. And after nearly two years in the business, I couldn’t see myself doing anything else!
